You may ask, "What is the Weekend Golf Tour?"

The Tour was formed in the year 2000 to give the average golfer a chance to play competitively against other players. A modified version of a "Men's Club," the WGT offers ten club events, as well as a season points champion, to its members. The events are played at different golf courses throughout East Central Indiana to promote the feeling of "being on tour."

Since the WGT was created with the average golfer in mind, it accepts players of all abilities and uses a handicapping system to level the playing field among competitors. The Tour does recognize valid USGA handicaps of its members.

The Tour also wants to keep the cost to its members to a minimum. Tournament fees of $12 will get you into each club event (not including player's green fees and/or cart fees) and cover your dues. These dues go directly into the year-end fund which is paid out to the top-5 overall finishers each year. In its inaugural year, the WGT awarded over $1,100 in prize money to its members. The WGT does not keep any of the dues paid and never will!

If you feel you've got what it takes to "make it on Tour," then join the Weekend Golf Tour today.
